in the Narthex before and after every weekend Mass
We probably
have one of the best stocked and organised
repositories in the diocese. It was started over
20 years ago following an appeal from Father
Rafferty for helpers.
Two
ladies volunteered to take on the job. Jean
Stribbling and Theresa Quinn (left) organised and ran
the repository until a few years ago when Theresa
retired. Jean decided to carry on with the good
work and enlisted the help of Jean Saunders who
covered for her on some Sundays. The reigns have now been handed on to Finola (top
right) and her colleagues. There isa wide variety of
quality items on offer Cards for all occasions,
statues, rosaries, crucifixes and bibles. Plus,
lots of baby gifts and children's books.
If what you're
looking for isn't on display, please ask as it is
impossible to display all their stock.
With good business sense they adjust their
display for First Communion, Confirmation, Easter
and Christmas, etc.There is an amazing range of
items available and it is almost impossible to
visit the display without wanting to buy
something. Plus all the quality goods are very
reasonably priced.

Sunday to visit the repository,
situated in the narthex and browse through the items - you'll be
very pleasantly surprised.
