A few years later it was becoming obvious
that the church was getting a little dilapidated
and was in serious need of a good facelift.
The decision to refresh the church, the rebuilding programme and the re-opening of the new, refreshed
church are explained here in photos and text along with Bishop Peter and Fr Kevin’s own comments.

                                                             Can You Help Us?
If you have any old photographs that relate to the Holy Family over the years we would love to add them to our history files. Please write or tell Kieran or Fr. Kevin about the photos and what they show. Alternatively e-mail us with details of what you have.
We will then get in touch with you and borrow the photos so that we can scan them. They will be returned to you in a few days. It would be nice to build up a bigger, detailed history of our parish. Please e-mail office@holyfamily.co.uk
Please mention the Holy Family in the e-mail title bar so that it is not wiped as spam.
