Fr. Stan Maciuszek was priest at Holy
Family for almost 7 years before moving as Parish Priest to the
parish of St Wulstan and Our Lady of Grace, High Wycombe in 2006.
He is now leaving our Diocese and
moving to the Diocese of Hallam and the Cathedral Church of St Marie
in Sheffield as assistant priest.
Fr. Stan wanted the opportunity to say farewell to his friends in
Holy Family and so a Mass was celebrated here on Friday 28th August
at 7.30 p.m.

After Mass, Fr. Stan invited the congregation to
join him in St Anne's Hall
for refreshments and a get-together.

Judy Fernandes presented Fr Stan with a gift from everyone and offered him the
sincere thanks, love and prayers of everyone in the Diocese.
In his farewell speech Father Stan thanked everyone who had helped him over the
years in our Diocese. He offered a special thanks to Father Kevin for nurturing
him along during his stay in Holy Family and to Judy Fernandes, the UCM ladies
and all the helpers involved in making the evening such a success and to the
club committee for the use of the hall.

assistant priest to the
Cathedral Church of
St Marie in Sheffield
He assures everyone he will keep in touch
and that his organized pilgrimages
will continue.
