JUBILEE GOLF TOURNAMENT

On a glorious day 26
parishioners took part in our Jubilee Golf Competition at
Farnham Park Golf Club. |

We organised ourselves into seven teams and
played a “Texas Scramble”.
There were some excellent scores ( we will not talk about
where the parish priest came!) but Harry Leahy, Bernard
Healy, Tony Mitchell & Shay McGurrell (pictured left
to right) scooped the prizes.
Ray Nair won the “nearest the pin” completion
and Shay McGurrell, with a beautiful shot on the 17th
hole, won the “longest drive”. |

Many thanks to all who took
part. |
| New friends were made and there
was lots of laughter. All in all, it was a most pleasant
and successful day. |
